We're very sorry to tell you that Avenged Sevenfold will not be performing at Reading today, August 24. As many of you know, the band had to shorten their set at Leeds Friday due to vocal strain. Since then, Matt's doctors in the United Kingdom and Los Angeles have both advised him that he must rest his voice and cannot perform.

Thankfully there are no long term problems and with proper rest, Matt will return to the road shortly. The band toured all summer with Iron Maiden throughout Europe and the UK. They returned home August 1, but because they wanted to play Reading and Leeds very much, they returned this week for the festival. They were blown away by the number of fans who came to see them play at Leeds. The band is still in England now and is extremely disappointed that they can't play a show they have been looking forward to for a long time.

A7X will return to the United Kingdom at the beginning of 09.

Matt will post a personal message shortly but we wanted to get you the news immediately.

Siamo molto spiacenti di comunicare che gli Avenged Sevenfold non suoneranno al Reading oggi, 24 Agosto. Come molti di voi sanno, la band ha dovuto abbreviare la sua esibizione di Venerdì a Leeds a causa di problemi vocali. Ieri sera ai Kerrang Awards gli Avenged Sevenfold hanno vinto il premio come BEST ALBUM OF THE YEAR per il 2008!

Per questo Matt ha voluto ringraziare tutti coloro che hanno contribuito a questa vincita, come i fans americani e quelli di tutto il mondo che hanno dimostrato nell'esibizione dell'unica data inglese del 20 agosto (dove la nostra Konsuelo è andata) di supportarli qui in europa come non mai.

Le nostre amiche Serena e Serena, sono andate ad Orange Country che sappiamo benissimo essere la patria dei nostri Avenged Sevenfold, per passare le loro vacanze estive, ci hanno scritto un sacco di novità!

Venerdì scorso sono andate a vedere l'Art Show di Cam Rackam, l'artista amico della band che ha curato gli artworks dei vari CD e singoli. Hanno passato tutta la serata con lui ed i suoi amici, e per ringraziarle della presenza ha scritto anche un blog nel suo space dove le nomina!! Io sono orgogliosa e contentissima per loro!!

La parte bella viene ora, allo show era presente anche Matt che ha parlato con le ragazze ed ha confermato che verranno in italia sicuramente a FEBBRAIO!

Noi non vediamo l'ora e ci prepariamo da ora per preparargli il migliore dei benvenuti!!!

E' uscita oggi la copertina del nuovo DVD "Live In The LBC & Diamond In The Rough" che uscirà ufficialmente in america il 9 settebre ed in Italia il 12 settembre.

Gli Avenged Sevenfold hanno appena annunciato il nome del loro nuovo CD+DVD che si chiamerà "Live In The LBC & Diamonds In The Rough" ed uscirà negli USA il 9 settembre.

Il dvd comprenderà le riprese alla famosa performance di Long Beach Arena durante il Taste of Chaos, dove sono stati headliner, mentre il cd conterrà 11 b-sides e cover varie. La direzione del dvd è stata affidata a Rafa Alcantara, lo stesso di "All Excess".
